Privacy notice

How I use the personal information you share through this website. It’s short because I collect very little.

Who I am

Designer Mitch is the data controller for information collected on this site. You can contact me about anything in this notice at hello@designermitch.co.uk.

What I collect and why

When you use the contact form or email me, I get your name, email address, what you tell me about your project and, if you choose, a budget range. I use it to reply and, if we work together, to run the project. The lawful basis is legitimate interests (replying to people who contact me) or steps you’ve asked me to take before a contract.

I don’t add you to a mailing list.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn’t use analytics or tracking cookies.

Who else handles your data

A form service that forwards enquiries to my inbox, my email provider, and the website host, which keeps standard server logs. Some of these may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. I never sell your information or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

How long I keep it

Up to 12 months after we last spoke. If we work together, project records are kept as long as accounting and legal rules require.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, object to or restrict how I use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@designermitch.co.uk and I’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. I’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
